Elio is a Northern New Jersey Cuban-American and graduate of Kean University, having earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance in 2011. He has performed in internationally renowned performance halls such as Avery Fisher Hall with the New York Philharmonic, as a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, and in Beijing, China as a representative for Kean University. Since 2012, he has had the wonderful opportunity to Executive Produce Priority One – the premiere Star Trek Online podcast. Whether recruiting, managing the global team of talented volunteers, arranging interviews with special guests, editing, web-development, finding sponsors, managing crowd funding, or writing content for the podcast, Elio has a hand in it all. A long-time Trekkie, Elio has been watching the series since he was a child and sneaking in late night, back-to-back, episodes of TNG reruns. He finally embraced the Trekdom in college and spent many hours catching up on the entire multiverse…. instead of studying.

Cryptic has said that Free to Play will allow people to play the game casually though in its current state there is more chance people will disappear never to return.

How many players have stated that the whole levelling system needs to be changed…more then enough. More ranks, extended duration between them and specific requirement to reach each would fill the void.

Even with the inclusion of the fleet admiral rank with Season 6, we are still missing lieutenant junior grade and admiral, if these were to be included it would bring the number of ranks to a total of 10 and if there were 20 grades rather then 10 within each this would surely be more suitable and i doubt would take that long to implement.

This may only be a temporary solution for players who have capped out but at least it will slow down the new players.

Loved the show, however Mr. Stahl approach to on end game being a priority is basically a catch 22. He keeps going on how they need to focus on more end game because most everyone has a 50. However the reason for this is because the system itself allows for people to max out in a short time.
Why would they not make it a priority to slow down the progression rate. I know someone personally who made VA in 3 DAYS. That is a problem. I personally have a lv 50 Klingon who made 50 just off the Duty officer system.
The game has a hundred and one ways to make 50, but then once your there you want more so you need end game or you start an alt. But the problem is still there with any alt you create. So more and more 50 are created.
While I am not stating end game is unimportant. The problem with level progression only compounds the issue with end game. End Game content is a bandage on the would of level progression. Slow the progression fewer level 50 will be created and less demand on the end game issue with newer players.
