116Hello Captains and welcome to Priority One’s 116th episode, broadcast live on TrekRadio.net on Thursday, February 21st, 2013 and published on Monday, February 25th, 2013 at PriorityOnePodcast.com!!!

It’s a four-host-extravaganza this week as James, Elijah and Adrianne are joined by Tony for a fun-filled, action-packed episode!

In this week’s Trek It Out we analyze Red Shirts, and does red necessarily equal dead, and also a brand new technology that could come to us from the very pages of Trek. In STO News, we cover our highlights of February’s Ask Cryptic, Season Seven, Dev Blogs Thirty-seven and Thirty-eight (including a hefty discussion of the Andorian Kumari escort line), the latest news from the PvP Bootcamp, and the introduction of our newest segment “DStahl Agrees with Tony” (segment name pending). Next we engage at Warp 9 into this week’s Field Notes with Matthew486DX who gives you the low-down on how to fly one of the most versatile ship-lines in STO, the Odyssey. Check out his guide: here! Finally, we open up hailing frequencies to read your incoming messages.

    Hiya,

I might be missing it but where are the show notes that includes the presentation on builds from Field Notes with Matthew486DX?

    Thanks, LLAP =/\=

      Hi, MidNiteShadow7,

I’ll have this corrected for you ASAP. The link appears to have gone AWOL/got the Andorian blues.

I’m surprised you guys didn’t cut out the discussion about weapon subsystem power, both Andorian Escorts and the Jem’Hadar Attack Ship get the exact same standard power bonus for escorts.
The 1 minute cooldown rule is generally fine but I would like to bring up an exception, Fleet Support is an ability you are going to want to hit as soon as it’s available.
As a (mercifully) final note on the subject, I’d like it fine if the devs just call an end to the Klingon-Federation war all together, but if it needs to go on, Klingon players both existing and perspective should be offered an option to not fight the Federation.
As it’s been said by kings and queens: We are the world in small. A nation is a human thing, it does what we do for our reasons, Surely if we are civilized we can put away the knives. We can make peace. We have it in our hands.

Excellent show everyone, nice to hear from Pugo1 again for the Odyssey breakdown (even if it is a cruiser, boo hiss).

P.S. If James tries he just might be able to go a little bit more over the top on the Support Priority One, but im not sure, it was highly amusing.
