138Hello Captains and welcome to Priority One’s 138th episode, recorded on Thursday,  August 22nd, 2013 and published on Monday, August 26th, 2013 at PriorityOnePodcast.com!

The crew are back from their epic shore leave to Star Trek Las Vegas and are back on the bridge of the USS Priority One (it’s not the bridge of the Enterprise, but it’s home) and bring you a show so crammed full of goodness it should be illegal! In this week’s episode of Priority One, James, Elijah and Tony tell us about their favourite moments of the Star Trek Las Vegas convention; in Trek It Out we play a small chunk of our interview with Art Director Scott Nakada & VFX Artist Chris Dawson, the crew behind Star Trek Renegades and their latest fund raiser and how you, yes, you can help to get this Star Trek production to fruition (you can listen to our full interview here). Next, we head into STO News and cover Legacy of Romulus Dev Blogs 37, 38 and 39; we recap for you ALL Season 8 teasers from Star Trek Las Vegas’ Dev Panel and left us salivating and finally discuss the two sets of patch notes before heading into Field Notes where we’re joined by The Epsilonian of 1st Aquarius Division — one of the first players to be apart of a team that actually BEAT the No-Win Scenario. He’ll share with us some of his best practices that will get you the coveted, “Kirk’s Protege” title! Finally, as always, we open our hailing frequencies and listen to your incoming messages.

This week’s Community Questions:

  • Have the Lock Box prizes helped alleviate any possible Buyer’s remorse?
  • What rewards are you looking forward to most with these Elachi Lock Boxes?

He has performed in internationally renowned performance halls such as Avery Fisher Hall with the New York Philharmonic, as a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, and in Beijing, China as a representative for Kean University. Since 2012, he has had the wonderful opportunity to Executive Produce Priority One – the premiere Star Trek Online podcast. Whether recruiting, managing the global team of talented volunteers, arranging interviews with special guests, editing, web-development, finding sponsors, managing crowd funding, or writing content for the podcast, Elio has a hand in it all. A long-time Trekkie, Elio has been watching the series since he was a child and sneaking in late night, back-to-back, episodes of TNG reruns. He finally embraced the Trekdom in college and spent many hours catching up on the entire multiverse…. instead of studying.

I only feel gyped when I open 4 lock boxes and 2 of them contain DO mini packs.

Lockboxes still aren’t worth buying, because they’re gambling. Give me one item for a flat price and I’ll buy it, but I’m not gonna play dice for virtual goodies. I’ll just continue to buy lockbox items off the Exchange like I’ve always done.

As to have the lockbox buyers remorse disappeared – to me… NO.
I’m SO SICK of getting Doff packs. I run about 50% getting them. On the newest lock box, I bought 20. I got 13 Doff packs… a couple mining passes and a couple new weapons. Nothing great. I don’t expect a ship every time… but I’m just sick of getting Doff packs. I have about 40 in my bank.
    Otherwise, great show 🙂

Great episode guys, i hope you all had fun at Vegas.

As for lockboxes, when are they going to add Keldon to the Lobi store, as well as some other ship to have a threesome of Cardie love with the boxes.

Just how difficult is the word Ship anyways?
