Well, the news about ST:Discovery for streaming in Canada and the US is just a HUGE kick in the nads for us North American fans.

Oh, the news about STO and the new Ferengi exclusive ship?

The complete randomness is ridiculous. Their statement is absolute BS and their damage control on this is laughable, Gekko came out and even called the players upset over this “haters”. Pretty crappy news this week all and all.

Accept it or don’t Elio, but that’s the way it’s gonna be in regard to the new series, so cork your pie hole. 🙂

Now – you know darn well – if I cork my pie-hole, the show wouldn’t have that Cubanpizzaz ya’ll enjoy so much! #SilentMajority #Lonely

Thank you guys for reaching to Bort regarding “Nagus Crisis”. Although the answer still…. unsatisfying, but at least he did his best, so did you guys. Really appreciate it.
Either way, when you guys test out the control. It would be nice to ask them how the control going to integrated on PC, also for minority players who mix both controller with mouse/keyboard. Specifically the 45 degree angled pilot maneuvers, and ground dodge roll any direction beside forward. :>
Looking forward hearing the cast again. Enjoy the convention!

So guys… First of all great show.

Second Why are you all not already playing on the couch? I got a sweet hook up with my TV and PC as years ago my Xbox red ringed. And i started playing a game i hand played kinda on and off at lunch STO.

Third. Regarding Chris Hemsworth. I am glad the Aussie actor is happy to return and is not to big for his Aussie boost. I also got the feeling that they are trying to have the cast some reasons to stay. They are all big names and have other projects and seem to be taken the passing of Anton Yelchin hard.

I am also now paranoid. Like 100% paranoid but i can not help it but keep thinking about it. I am really worried about you guy reporting on it. Last time you asked a question about “who don’t we need?” Weeks later we lost a very talented and beloved actor. 2016 already has sucked so bad losing suck great talented people I dont want to lose Thor as well.

Why was the original Beyond script thrown out, but the authors are now being brought back? There’s one really plausible explanation…

If the original Beyond script was to serve as a finale to the Kelvin-Trek timeline, that script may have been delayed (even if well made) if Paramount decided they could produce a fourth movie. These hollywood blockbuster series don’t generally continue much beyond three or four films. With a handoff to Star Trek Discovery on the way, the end of the movie series is probably coming sooner than later.

This also fits with the premise of Kirk meeting his father. If time travel has him “righting the timeline” by saving his father’s life, that would effectively conclude the Kelvin series. This would mean the reunification of the franchise, and would give the Kelvin series a very satisfying finale.

It might be a terrific script, but the logistical strategy of the franchise may have changed, requiring it to be shelved.

I’m honestly surprised you guys actually discussed the Ferengi ship issue. I’m also surprised how “fair and balanced” the comments were; I expected a pretty heavy Cryptic bias. You guys covered this pretty well!

My personal opinion: while this might have been a good idea in theory, it was obviously a bad idea in practice. Also, by having the criteria a secret, this means that anyone who was supposed to get one but didn’t because of some bug has no way to resolve the issue. You can’t submit a bug report if you don’t know you were supposed to get one in the first place.
