@Kam and Jenna, welcome officially I’m glad you are both sticking around. Back when I played City of Heroes those of use who focused on teh auction house used to stand around in tuxedos, monocles and top hats drinking tea we said was made from the Market-tears (get it?) of those less skilled at auction house pvp. I’ll see if I can find some pictures later. I always wished we had a looping tea drinking emote and top hats here in STO, I think a gorn marketer with an intel monocle and tophat would be AWESOME.

I liked House of Pegh. I think it’s kind of amusing how so many people think that Kahless deliberately chose not to kill T’ket, when the cutscene clearly shows him swing at her head and she put her arm up, he cut it off and still mauled her head (removing the two side spikes and causing a lot of damage). Then was aiming at her head a second time when she teleported behind him and killed him. I guess people see what they want to see.

Near as I can tell, the House lied to us and knew there wasn’t a third omega generator. The whole mission seems to have been for the purpose of testing a weapon vs iconians and letting Kahless die in glorious battle. I think our character was along just to be a witness.

For him, it was pure win-win. He was never a great warrior (remember how easier Gowron beat him?). He had the original’s genes, and deeply cared about the empire, but he wasn’t the original. He could never rule. He was old and out of shape. But this was a “no lose scenario”. If he actually hurt T’Ket he could convince J’mpol to let him fight on the front lines until he died against the heralds and went to stovokor. If he died, he knew the klingons would get enraged, raising their morale after the recent defeats (unlike federation or romulan soldiers, klingons are more motivated by anger than hope) and he would immediately go to stovokor.

So, yes, I’ve enjoyed it. Though, I had to watch the cutscene on youtube because it was totally broken for me. And the yellow floors were a bit too much. I’m really looking forward to Captain Nog and seeing what happens with the missing sword of kahless. And, is he really dead or just teleported away?

First off, I love the idea of House Pegh. I always thought that the Klingon Empire would collapse if they truly exclusively cared about honor in battle. Like, how is a team going to successfully design a new bird-of-prey if they are constantly killing each other because of disagreements over EPS transfer rates or something? Knowing House Pegh is operating in the background helps me make sense of how the Empire persists.

Initially, I thought it was pretty dumb that Kahless would decide to go one-on-one against an Iconian like that. But then I thought – House Pegh would think that was dumb, too. Furthermore, House Pegh would know that if you put Kahless and an Iconian in the same building, a duel would happen and Kahless would get smoked. In short, House Pegh figured out an ingenious, plausibly deniable way to dispatch a figurehead clone emperor with outdated ideas of battle and glory. I deeply admire House Pegh.

A really, really great show. It’s unfortunate that it was saddened by the loss of a P1 staple, Airborne, but the tribute was beautiful. Heartfelt and honest, a perfect to a huge part of the P1 team.

Show-wise, it was such a dichotomy. On the one hand, it was the most entertaining episode in months. This isn’t slighting previous episodes, the show is always top-notch, just that this set a new bar. It was a lot of fun to listen to, really knocked out of the park. There’s also a lot of excitement about the new additions. The dynamic is very different, but the chemistry is very real, and I can’t wait to see what these three do together.

But on the other hand, it’s tough saying “until next time” to such a great pair. What else can be said about Cookie and Elijah that hasn’t been said already? But let’s also not forget about the departure of Ben Churchill. He brought the audio editing to a whole new level. His work was often unsung among the general listener, but it was masterful. As with Kam and Kenna, I have NO doubt that Winters will produce to the quality previously set, but continue to raise the bar.

To Priority One. The best damn Podcast around!

Deeply saddened about the news of Airborne. As a Fleet mate, he will be missed. He was not above telling you how he felt, good or bad. He was always willing to help you out the best he could. God Speed to Airborne on his newest journey.

Welcome to the new hosts! Maybe they won’t mispronounce my name like Cookie does every single time.

I haven’t listened to this episode yet, but can’t help to respond early on Borticus comment on +30 min podcast tweets – I usually listen to you guys in my car (+1 hour rides) or while playing STO in the wee hours; I really love P1 because you guys don’t just jabber but have something interesting to tell for 60-90 mins – don’t change that ! The Cpt Geko interviews usually last 45 mins even cut in half and those are a treasure trove of (background) info that really is usefull on a practical level.

To those that think 30 mins is too long, you can always pause or listen to the rest later 🙂

And hi to Kam and Kenna, now it’s official I’m looking fwd to your contributions.

Ok, off to work and pushing ‘play’ for ep. 224…

Thanks! I’m sure Borticus wasn’t making a direct comment on our show — It was just a blanket statement. We just decided to make joke out of it 😛

Don’t worry — we wont’ be changing our format of 45 – 60 min. 🙂

Best directors cut yet, special thanks to Elijah Cookie (not sure if the space belongs there).

      A very enjoyable episode everyone.

CQ) It was ok, i just have a few nitpicks on it. Why did we fail, we used up a bunch on the big generator, and could have use the controls to blow it up. The other 2 generators were primed to blow up. Dont even start me up about the plot cloak. Bottom line, we learned that if you hit them with omega energy, go berserk and just shred them.

My biggest problem with this fe series it that it seems way too fast.

Hi! I felt I needed to post this and say how honored I am for being a part of the Priority One crew. Every one has welcomed me with arms wide open and I am very thankful for this opportunity.

As a fellow newbie to the Priority One crew myself, I say hi and welcome to the crew to Kenna and the sarcasm detector himself. It is an honor to work with you and I’m looking forward to many more episodes. I would have a toast to the new crew and the outgoing ones, but I drink water. 😀

    LLAP, my friends!

OMG guys… damn that was such an emotional ride. Feeling sad, happy and sad, laughing then thinking about Airborn again. RIP Airborn you will be greatly missed.

I personal will miss all of you guys and can not wait for On screen.

as for last week question (Which i am sorry for being late). Now got over 40 toons. I got so many now i lose count but have came across something if you pick up the missions (as in just hail) you can come back anytime even after the event is over and it will still be at the level you got it at, so this works with low level toons leveling. It will not work if you drop it after. So i’ve been playing it through once with my main toon and the others whenever. Also once played the first time… on a low level toon you can always come back, most people think you can only do it for that week and then at level 60 which is of course not the case.

    take care all
