Al has done a great job with STO. I’ve played since launch and I’m really pleased with where the game has gone. I hope he does follow through in making dilithium a true time currency. Lately there have been more dilithium sinks added than dilithium sources. The new BOff training and specialization systems are great and I’d love to see a skill revamp. Crafting could use less randomness but at least it’s a huge improvement over the old system.

Hi it’s chris keen. So knackerd is a british term which means worn out or broken. In the uncut version cookie said that it sounded like I said naked followed by “oh wait it’s from Chris Keen so yes I believe he is saying naked”. Lol
I had no idea cookie knew me that well. Lol
Loved this show and the interview.

    Another great show as always!
My experience with the anniversary comment has been overwhelmingly positive! I am psyched to get the Kobali Samsar ship, and I’m looking forward to trying my luck with the Vaadwaur Lock Box!
I LOVED the episode Dust to Dust: it’s awesome anytime an actor comes in to voice a character, and Kim Rhodes is no exception!
Plus I’m also psyched with the hints from Laughing Trendy about Season 10: Sector Blocks!

So Al plans to add cool down timers to the patrol missions because he doesn’t want people running Argala constantly. I can understand that, but they need to understand that they cut the Xp being awarded across all the other content. So as well as adding the CD timers, they also need to raise the XP in other areas to match what Argala pays out. As for ground awarding less XP, I don’t agree with him. There are more players running space content than ground. Infected Ground Advanced is more likely to fail because of the trigger lines and increase in number of elite tact drones. Not to mention space missions are normally completed faster than the ground maps.

Im very happy to hear Al’s plans for finally making dilithium a true time currency and adding dilithium to journal missions so people can start earning from the start. Also very happy to hear they will be changing the Tau Dewa patrols to work like the Delta patrols, as the TD patrols arent really worth the time at the moment. So all in all congrats to Cryptic on 5 years and Im looking forward to these changes.

Awesome show. Great to hear from Al as always. One thing did concern me was his talk about removing the Crystalline PvE queue. While I understand his reasoning, that would take away 1 of the avenues the KDF have to generate Fleet Marks. We are working on our KDF fleet now that the Fed one is almost a complete T5 and the only queues we can get that pop regularly are the Borg Disconnect, Azure, Crystalline, and Klingon Fleet Alert. My favorite mission, Colony Invasion, is non existent in the PUGs. I would love for some of these (X faction only) queues to be cross faction. That way if I dont have enough fleetmates to run Colony, I could PUG it with Feds.
