He finally embraced the Trekdom in college and spent many hours catching up on the entire multiverse…. instead of studying.

I have lots of sweet builds for my doffs . My fav is the Voth doff that reverses your tbr combined with tether mines is crazy yo, crazy. I like the quatermaster maintinence ENG combo as well .
For Jayce , I believe the efficient ability is capped @ 70/75 just thought worth mentioning cause useing the fleet warp core with AMP and Eff is pointless . I could be wrong if so I apologize. James my man loved having you back ,BIG fan love the new podcast idea . I would like to humbly volunteer my services to cohost 🙂 my credentials ….. MARVEL “yay” DC “boo”. (Drops mic )

I have all kinds of builds for my doffs. But I would have to say my fav is the Voth doff that reverses tractor beam repulsers along with my tethered mines ,MMMMMWWWAAAHHHHaHAHAHA. Crazy stuff yo crazy stuff ooooo ooooooo and quartermasters that reduce bat cool down with maintinence ENG that gives bonus on use of bat type hehehehehe LOVE that combo . And for jace I think there is a cap for efficient @ 70/75 power level ceases putting out ,thought it might be good to mention because it is pointless to use a fleet warp ore With AMP and efficient together . Unless I am mistaken if so forgive my ignorance . I also would like to say wazzzup to my homie James welcome back and LOVE the new podcast idea ! HUGE fan and i humbly submit my self as a cohost don’t thank me yet. My credentials ….. MARVEL “yay DC “boo” (drops mic)

On Doffs, I run a torp scimitar and have 5 different types of forward torps with 360 energy weps in the back. I use 3x purple Projectile Doffs for the CD reduction and 2x purple Energy wep Doffs that make Beam overload allow my torps 40% shield pen. It is a very effective build that allows me to raid torpedo death on my targets.

When it comes to JJ trek, to me he turned startrek from scifi to space opera. things like Red Matter and ground based shipyards really get under my skin. To me startrek has always been about plausibility. Ya some of the tech is really out there but at it’s heart it’s plausible. Things like red matter fly in the face of that.

    Wow, great podcast.

We never had Reading Rainbow in the UK, which, now I know about it, is kinda sad. That said, we did have Letterland.

Anyway, on with the ‘show and tell’.

My Favourite DOff at the moment is the Mirror Hakeev. Whilst his special ability doesn’t activate as often as I’d like, it is really useful in STF’s, where I play more of a Squad Support role. Splashing HazEm’s across a team mate and getting the extra buff to me or another team mate is really useful when you have a load of spheres to mop up. Also anything that reduces my BOff cooldowns is great.

My primary Klingon toon is focusing on control abilities with his boff, so his DOff’s all supplement those abilities; i love me my shield draining tractor beams, but Hakeev’s in there too.

For some reason, I’ve managed to get Gariff Adam Lackey twice on ALL of my Fed toons, but he (and his twins) is a cool DOff and ends up going on so MANY DOff assignments.

P.s. How can you say that the Galvatron movie was anything but Epic?

Fav Doffs? 3x Purple Techs as I’m an absolute Aux2Bat Acolyte. For Sci/Escort roles I enroll 3x Dmg Ctrl Eng for EPTx cooldown. All my alts have these 6 purples as standard. Plus the 6th Doff slot does all kinds of wonderfull mayhem.
You want to be mean? Aux2Bat (3x Techs) plus Maint Engs for EPTA/Inertial Dampeners boost (2x Aux2Bat + 2x EPTA)… You won’t crack this boat. Ever. 🙂

    Great show, thx guys.

I don’t have favorites per se. I use the ones that will best suit my build given the self imposed limitation I’ve made. That limitation being that my entire crew must be Vulcan. From the Boffs to the Doffs. It can be tough getting quality Doffs and at the same time dropping ones that are quality but are not Vulcan. I do make two exceptions: Romulans and exocomps are allowed. I feel those would be complimentary to an all Vulcan crew.

  12. seannewboy on 2014-06-02

My doffs currently are the 5-6 purples that i have most use for from the ones i have acquired, someday i will get specific ones, but thats a last step for characters for pvp.

Very fun show everyone, love the new *temporally redacted * segment.

WHAT A GREAT SHOW. BUT WAIT WHAT THIS? A TEST! Noooooo! I didnt know that theme song! WHAT ARE THE WORDS! We never had Reading rainbow in Australia! WE NEVER HAD IT! WE NEVER HAD IT!(Weeps) That Guest spot at the end was also a crazy LOL!

I am now kinda piss finding out the got Lawrence Kasdan J.J. Abrams, George Lucas. Not because i believe they will write a good story or it will be any good. WHAT PISSES ME OFF IS JJ DOUBLE STANDARDS BETWEEN STAR WARS AND STAR TREK! With TREK NO ONE, NO ONE who worked on any trek was allowed, but has gone out of his way to get the old band back together with WARS. again i think this proves that he was a wars fan and never cared for trek.

Thats it. I am over the new trek.

and thanks for the graphic info. it only seems to happen with TREX or bosses or 20 man events so yeah i guess there nothing i can do.

However nothing made me more happier then to here that not only was Sir James to return but he would become part of the marvel’s cinematic universe.

I’ve been listening to Clark Gregg in some great podcasts and i am sure if you ask nicely he will not only make be on the show but have an awesome time talking about stuff…. marvel stuff.

Well this galah session is not too shabby at all.

Rather true blue, even with no sheila on the show, you didn’t sound like a bunch of boofheads at all. Just seem to go troppo on the blooper real.

    Now the translation.

Well this podcast is not too bad at all.

Rather faithful, even with no lady on the show, you didn’t sound stupid at all. Just seem to lose it on the blooper real.

    Good stuff guys.
