114Hello Captains and welcome to Priority One’s 114th episode, broadcast live on TrekRadio.net on Thursday, February 7th, 2013 and published on Monday, February 11th, 2013 at PriorityOnePodcast.com!!!

Alas, James is still being held captive by Armus, but fear not! We’ve sent Tasha Yar to investigate (too soon?). In this week’s Trek It Out, Elijah tells us about a cool new endeavor by NASA to launch the worlds largest solar sail in 2014, whilst Adrianne tells us about a recent trip to the theatre to see HMS Pinafore: The Next Generation. In STO News we cover the recent Friday Screenshot posted by Branflakes, the Spotlight on the Foundry, G&T Show’s interview with Christine ‘Kestrel’ Thompson, writer for Star Trek Online, and finally the end of the anniversary event. After that we are delighted to be joined once again by Pug01, ground combat PvP expert of the highly successful PvP Boot Camp who lets us in on a few little gems to help make your ground PvP experience that much more awesome, before opening up hailing frequencies to read your feedback.

To register for the PvP Boot Camp, visit this link to the STO forums!

Elio is a Northern New Jersey Cuban-American and graduate of Kean University, having earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance in 2011. He has performed in internationally renowned performance halls such as Avery Fisher Hall with the New York Philharmonic, as a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, and in Beijing, China as a representative for Kean University. Since 2012, he has had the wonderful opportunity to Executive Produce Priority One – the premiere Star Trek Online podcast. Whether recruiting, managing the global team of talented volunteers, arranging interviews with special guests, editing, web-development, finding sponsors, managing crowd funding, or writing content for the podcast, Elio has a hand in it all. A long-time Trekkie, Elio has been watching the series since he was a child and sneaking in late night, back-to-back, episodes of TNG reruns. He finally embraced the Trekdom in college and spent many hours catching up on the entire multiverse…. instead of studying.

Great show. hope to see more PVP related updates in game. Star Fest is in Denver Colorado, this year is 35 years of the convention. Avery Brooks and Deep Roy is going to be there, some names you might know from Star Trek. Witch autograph should I get? I have an Avery Brooks figure in the box I can get him to sign. I just got Tony Todds autograph from Galaxy Fest, you might know him as Kurn on TNG he is Warfs brother.

On the subject of expanding KDF content, I hope we see Klingon civil war soon. From what I see Martok (and by extension his pro-Federation policies) is still popular among many Klingons, who can’t be happy about the war with Federation especially while the house that is Alpha and Beta quadrant is burning. On the other hand, the hawkish hardliners in Klingon society can’t be happy about providing aid to Romulans. If pro-J’mpok and pro-Martok Klingons were on the brink of conflict before, season 7 would certainly have sent them over the edge.

if season 8 is KDF heavy I will be a happy man. I am heading up the fleet United Federations KDF side and want people to know it is okay to play a Klingon. Klingon Civil war would be cool to see. I only play fed when we have fed events over the weekend. all other times I am on my Ferasan and Nausicann chars.
