Greetings, captains! Exciting news: LeVar Burton will be voicing Captain Geordi LaForge in two upcoming featured episodes! The first episode celebrates the 30th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation and will be released on September 12, 2017. The second featured episode will kick off the PC release of the next major update,
Season 14 – Emergence, due to be released in October. (Both episodes will be released later for the Playstation 4 and XBox One.)

The first featured episode is titled “Beyond the Nexus,” and, unsurprisingly, is TNG-themed. You’ll team up with Captain LaForge and his crew to investigate a distress call from a Galaxy-class ship whose crew is being mind-controlled by a mysterious energy source. It will make available for purchase a fully realized Galaxy-class interior, and have server-wide giveaways. You’ll be able to nab yourself the skant uniform from TNG Season One, and the Type 7 shuttlecraft.

The episode kicking off Season 14 is titled “Melting Pot.” The story of the Tzenkethi war continues as you assist LaForge and Captain Kuumaarke (Kipleigh Brown) in exploring a new colony world being settled by the reunited Kentari and Lukari peoples. The colony is meant to celebrate this reunification, merging their cultures and technology once again. However, as any computer tech will tell you, getting different systems to play nicely together isn’t an easy task. Luckily, a legendary Starfleet engineer is on hand to smooth the way. But once you beam down to the surface, the situation escalates rapidly, turning a simple tour into a pitched battle for survival. Stressful, sure, but your vacation photos will be amazing.

This season features a brand new Fleet Holding in a full-scale colony on the Kentari/Lukari homeworld, which, for the first time since the Fleet Starbase, will feature five full tiers of progression and rewards. The update will also include a Tzenkethi Red Alert, two new fleet holding defense queues, a new colony map special event, and a new Primary Specialization called “Miracle Worker.”

Yea, Dranuur Colony and DC Advanced needs to be reevaluated and rebalanced, it is too difficult especially when the VOTH attack and 8 times out of 10 it’s the Voth attacking. They have too much DPS and way too much Hitpoints/Hullpoints. You have toned down player DPS and even with the Engineering class revamps and the new Miracle Worker Specialization is by far inadequate plus you raise the PVE’s HP well into the millions but player ships still only have 50-80K and damage resist scaling is a joke. The Voth must have 90% resists and the dreads well over 3 Mil HP, impossible without spending thousands of dollars on the game and a team of 5 high spending rollers, I can’t imagine anybody trying the Elite version. Please fix this and other imbalances in the game. The story content is awesome but player practicality needs a lot of work. Also, the fleet project provisioning, 150+ duty officers, not enough fleet marks, a ton of dil at 1/1 dil to fm ratio and only 20,000 expertise to fill? you can’t increase the expertise, fleet marks and add some other commodity to fill besides 150 DOFF’S? and with the doffs everything is all ENG and Sci doffs with only the main Starbase tactical provisioning doffs to supply to? Spend less paying actors and spend more in development please.
