16 September 2012 | Hello Captains!  Welcome to Episode 96 of Priority One recorded on Thursday, September 13th, 2012 and hosted on PriorityOnePodcast.com and now streaming live on TrekRadio.NET on Thursday nights!!!

In this episode’s BoTW we take a look at George Takei’s Allegiance project!  We’ll find out what happened This Week in Trek.  In STO News we cover the most recent Ask Cryptic, the newest Spotlight on the Foundry, STO’s Dilithium 101 Blog and more!

Starting Last week…we are Live on Trekradio.net every thursday at 5:30 pm pacific time! We have always syndicated our shows with them, but now we will be Live every week! Trek Radio has a built in IRC Chat client, so fear not, you will be able to communicate with us during the broadcast just as you used to over on our Livestream channel.

We are also putting the call out to Game, scifi/fantasy and entertainment bloggers. We are in need of weekly – possibly daily – contributors. We have filled the Managing Editor Position. We would like to welcome Bill to the team! Bill has a ton of experience in gaming and editing so we are looking forward to seeing where he takes our blog! If you have Blog submissions, please send them to incoming@priorityonepodcast.com ℅ Bill!

We need a video editor/director! We are looking for someone who can take live and/or fraps footage and turn it into a 15-45 min, fully featured segment while meeting a 7 day deadline. Is this you? Want to get your work noticed. Join our team, we can help you with that!

All of our positions are volunteer at the moment, none of us here at Priority One take home one single dime from our work. But the benefits are endless. We offer a well known outlet for your work and the opportunity to gain much needed experience or hone your already established experience.

If interested, please forward you contact information and experience along with a few writing samples to incoming@priorityonepodcast.com

He has performed in internationally renowned performance halls such as Avery Fisher Hall with the New York Philharmonic, as a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, and in Beijing, China as a representative for Kean University. Since 2012, he has had the wonderful opportunity to Executive Produce Priority One – the premiere Star Trek Online podcast. Whether recruiting, managing the global team of talented volunteers, arranging interviews with special guests, editing, web-development, finding sponsors, managing crowd funding, or writing content for the podcast, Elio has a hand in it all. A long-time Trekkie, Elio has been watching the series since he was a child and sneaking in late night, back-to-back, episodes of TNG reruns. He finally embraced the Trekdom in college and spent many hours catching up on the entire multiverse…. instead of studying.

Regarding issue with Fleet holdings and Contributing.

I for one would like to see a function where by fleet admirals can place a cap on certain holdings so that members can only contribute a set amount, if however completion takes too long, the cap can be removed or increase, thereby giving members who dont access the game as much chance to contribute as those that do.

Special Projects (SP) are rare and something i know many fleet members like to contribute to, after all it is “Our” home away from home and you can say you helped complete that project. Granted in the beginning it was necessary for one or two people to quickly finish a project as none were prepared for what was required for contributions but now it seems just as ridiculous as the issue many were having with the leaderboard.

Many have not even reliased the SP has started and finished without going to the starbase as they expect it to appear in the contributing list. Perhaps a list of completions should be made available in the fleet window in game.
