He has performed in internationally renowned performance halls such as Avery Fisher Hall with the New York Philharmonic, as a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, and in Beijing, China as a representative for Kean University. Whether recruiting, managing the global team of talented volunteers, arranging interviews with special guests, editing, web-development, finding sponsors, managing crowd funding, or writing content for the podcast, Elio has a hand in it all. A long-time Trekkie, Elio has been watching the series since he was a child and sneaking in late night, back-to-back, episodes of TNG reruns. He finally embraced the Trekdom in college and spent many hours catching up on the entire multiverse…. instead of studying.

    Hey P1,

Awesome show, and as always it’s great to hear dev interviews.

Regarding the mobile app: I 159.765% agree with you guys that mobile app is a requirement for the game to survive long-term. One of the greatest aspects of Assassin’s Creed 4 (Black Flag. The Pirate one) was the fact that they had a fully fleshed out mobile interface through Ubisoft. This interface allowed you to send ships on missions *cough*admiralty… Perform low level inventory and friend-list management. When playing, you could even. Have a separate screen dedicated to a live map where you could actively select objectives and they would appear marked in the live game in real time.

Now, I realize that last bit is asking for a lot, and frankly it’s unrealistic. But doffing, admiralty, even a Dil refining button would be immensely helpful. Like you guys (and gal) mentioned; a mobile app can be a way to demo aspects of the game to friends and potential players, drawing more positive attention to the game. Dear Cryptic : I promise you it is worth the investment!!!

    Yay, talk about Kenna week.

    Thanks Borticus, great show everyone.

cq2) I like the space one, hate falling through the floor puzzle for the ground one. The new episode is nice, but i did not really want the empty rewards week. Not really, i mean the flow is different, but im not sure what changes are causing it to feel different.

    Great show as always

But you know what would be great, if you offer your Podcast in read form, not only audio

That way you would have more audience, cuz not everyone can hear so that would realy help a lot

Also there are people that like more to read than to listen cuz not everyone have enough spare time to listen stuff for 2 hours, and it is faster to read than to listem

So for future would it be possible to get Podcast in read form to help those among us that cant hear and those that like read form more than listen form

      Hi Rick!

Thanks for reaching out. This is a request that we get from time-to-time (especially when we have a special guest on the show). The truth is that Priority One is made up of volunteers. No one gets paid for the work they do on this show. As a result, P1 is very much a labor of love that we juggle with work, family, and other commitments. Unfortunately, transcribing our shows is a very time-consuming process that we don’t have the man-power for. We’ve tried to look in to software or outsourcing but, those cost money or are poorly generated.

I appreciate the feedback. Hopefully, one day, we’ll be able to accommodate the request.

      Best,
      -Elijah

    Great show guys!

Season 13 is going great so far! I the featured episode story wise was ok, I loved the look of the poor lower areas of the planet. Kind of strange to see vending machines, so are they canon now?

I’ve only played the space war game so far, I liked it. I was interesting, somewhat confusing at first but I was able figure it out quickly. I loved how fast the mission was, something I could finish in a few minutes.

The space balance has not affected me as far as I can tell, it might have benefited my ship battles if anything! But I’m a casual player so I’m not too surprised.

    great show!!

like to add to the reputation marks comments . here a few ideas
    1) why not add marks to Key missions for solo players. Delta arc story missions does have delta marks

2)once reputation is finish and got your gear. there isn’t much a reason to flip though the different STFs. idea maybe add Fleet projects that Require reputation marks.earn fleet credits unlock visual to base maybe or fleet version of gear.

    3) to increase reason to do some STFs bring back the hourly events. for eg.
do undine STFs earn get bonus marks if you do it at that time frame

players are alway trying to earn marks for dilithium

Well, nice interview, its always really nice to know dev side of the story.
Just curious, does dev have a separate system designer for ground and space, or its just everyone?
Speaking of which, please un-nerfed the motion accelerator, making it single person buff and decrease its effectiveness instead. With its current CD, its way too long for it to be useful, less than 13% active time, 28% max. Its quite an important module for melee build. Pretty pleaaasssse.
