Great show guys! And loved the walk through Kenna did. Hope to see more walk throughs in the future. The FE was good, I am a sucker for time travel stories. As for the Iconian war. I think they just hug it out at the end, then they set their phasers to “s’mores” and sing folk songs by the campfire…really I have no clue and I don’t want to speculate but I’m sure it will be good.

Butterfly was interesting – the not-so-covertly appearance of Section 31 was an eyebrow raiser though (hint?).

The final big bad boss had me smiling, that one was not quite unexpected, but seeing that one again was a nice nod, or tie-in, to the current STO canon.

Something that sparked a lively discussion in my fleet was that this story and the next, would be a perfect moment to ‘cross-over’ into the JJ-verse – ofcourse STO has no plans nor approval to actually go there (thank heavens) – but this would be the perfect portal to branch of into that lens-flare induced re-booted universe.

Thanks for the Convention coverage, really enjoyed the interviews.
I do hope that P1 can eventually bring back some more in-depth discussions on ships, builds and powers though (and not just a referral to patch notes).

I rather liked Butterfly Effect. It had soemthing in it that TOS has that makes me enjoy watching it, Predictability. Albeit I did not *SPOILER ALERT* see the borg coming, but I knew that firing the weapon was going to “blow up” in our faces. It’s the weakest story of this war set, but I enjoyed it. Predictability can sometimes be fun.

I really enjoyed the new FE. it was interesting going into the holodeck and running through the different temporal incursion scenarios. the first scenario, which put you on an almost destroyed federation starship during a dominion attack made me think of the nearly destroyed U.S.S. Odyssey attempting to flee from the Jem Hadar just before it was rammed into by a Jem Hadar Attack Ship. when a target is finally chosen for the weapon and you go to the Romulus system only to find that it has been completely assimilated by the Borg, I immediately thought of the alternate universe version of captain Riker saying “you don’t know what it’s like in our universe. the Federation’s gone, the Borg is everywhere!” This disaster that was caused by changing the timeline is just more proof that tampering with time is a bad idea. as for how the Iconian war will end, i think that another more precise temporal incursion calculation will be made that will eliminate the Iconian threat. once that is accomplished, the krenim will turn on us and attempt to use the weapon to restore their empire to its former glory Similar to the events in Year of Hell. we will then have to fight back against them and destroy the weapon ship.
