Trek It Out Episode 09 | Richard Hatch

Subscribe30th January 2013 | Welcome to the nineth installment of Trek It Out!

“The Cylons were created by man. They rebelled. They evolved. They look and feel human. Some are programmed to think they are human. There are many copies. And they have a plan.” — words that should be familiar to any self-respecting sci-fi fan. This week, Elijah and Tony talk to none other than Richard Hatch, best known for his portrayal as Capt. Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica, and also as Tom Zarek in the 2003 Syfy/Ronald D Moore reimagining, but also as a teacher and author of the Great War of Magellan. Come and join us as we chat to Richard about where he draws his inspiration for his roles, creation of a unique universe, his thoughts on Zarek’s true nature, and where you can find out more about Richard’s latest appearances. So say we all.

I still remember my cardboard viper control board i got from mail order. The original show was so compelling because of the main actors, primarily the 4 main men. They worked together and meshed so well, you really wanted to see how they would manage getting through this.
