Hey guys, long time no see.

I was returning to the game today after quite a long break and realized that I didn’t listen to a new podcast from you guys in weeks. I normally keep listening to your show even when I’m taking a break from STO, which speaks highly to the quality of the show.

The reason seems to be that your RSS feed is somehow broken. The last update on the RSS is episode 187 from late August. Please look into that? If I have to manually visit a website I’ll forget again because I’m a terribly forgetful person.

Greetings and keep on doing your thing,

All of the Vesta’s consoles. Photon torpedo point defense on the Armatage as well. I am most pleased with the new updated Aquarius.

    Thanks guys, great show (again).

I like the idea of a background dev story on Delta Rising. On that note, what about an e-book(let) by Christine which tells the STO universe story through the eyes of a captain from the Klingon War episode all the way to Delta Rising, with parallel Rom and KDF points of view.

Re: consoles, I have so many I wouldn’t know where to start. Jump, Undine (yellow snot) and Isometric come to mind. Point Defense and the (bound) Armitage torp console are others.

And thanks again for the Al Riviera interviews; really enjoying those, as I re-listen to them for (more) background and an overall better understanding regarding the revamped crafting etc.

    Greetings from the 44th

If the consoles had a cooldown reduction before the upgrade system came into place it would have been different for me. the reason why I never used clicky consoles is stat boosting consoles are more effective. The cooldown reduction does make those console more effective.

The reason why the upgrade system of consoles puts a damper on this is consoles like the [Console – Tachyokinetic Converter Mk XIII] and [Console – Bioneural Infusion Circuits Mk XIII] received a 25% stat boost just turning them into mk xiii with no change of rarity.

What they needed to do is not turn the clicky consoles to epic and allow you to upgrade them to get a basic passive. Not change the mark version but just the rarity. Then make that passive apply only when the power is not active. For example, the [Console – Universal – Saucer Separation] only does things to your stats when active. why not give a small resist all when your ship is together and more durable. This would add a sense of hey I have this option available but it may not be best time to give up that stat.

As it stands now I have too much gear to full those spots first.

Cookie needs to find more use for the, i call it the “barbie qapla” she used just prior to the hour mark at the end of the episode, that was epic.
CQ) Whichever ones go with my build already, they will just be that much better. Eat Antiproton Sweep Scumwads!

    Wonderful show everyone.

I have over time accumulated several click power consoles and usually have one active at all times to give me a tactical advantage. until I got the plasmonic leech. Now with DR an t5u coming out, I may start to use my subspace jump and my impulse capacitance cell for both ambush and tactical retreat respectively. I may also bust out my wing cannon consoles for the additional firepower.
